The Caring Community Network of the Twin Rivers-
The Caring Community Network of the Twin Rivers is an organization that actively promotes
healthy individuals and environments as a fundamental requirement for healthy communities.
The network researches and responds to community needs by building upon local strengths
and embracing the whole community. Known to the greater community as CCNTR, this board of
community leaders was established as a separate non-profit organization in 1996. The 24
member board includes, members of the school districts, various community business
leaders, mental health providers, members of Franklin Regional Hospital, the Community
Action Program, Child and Family Services, Visiting Nurses Association of Franklin,
Newfound Area Nursing Association, Twin Rivers Community Corporation, and many other
interested parties.
Healthlink- Thanks to a inclusive
network of 109 physicians and other healthcare providers, those people without health
insurance who live in one of the thirteen communities in the LRGH service area can receive
comprehensive healthcare through HealthLink.
Franklin Regional Hospital-
It is the mission of FRH to provide high quality healthcare services
required by the residents of the service area commensurate with available resources, and
to coordinate and cooperate with other community and regional healthcare providers to
assure the people of the region the fullest possible range of health services.
Twin Rivers
Counseling- Our mission is to offer individuals, in their own community, a full range
of responsive and accessible mental health services.
CHAN- The members of
CHAN are nonprofit community-based health care organizations providing, collectively,
comprehensive family and primary health care services, including reproductive health care,
pre-natal care and related social, educational and referral services to local communities
with a focus on low income, medically underserved and other vulnerable populations. The
members have formed the corporation to conduct various activities that will enhance and
improve their respective capacities to provide quality health care services to their
patients.
